Why we build this
AI applications deserve the same infrastructure maturity that databases, authentication, and observability already have. Memory is on the critical path for any assistant or agent that users return to, and yet most teams still build it from primitives — extraction, ranking, tenant scoping, deletion that reaches derived data, and a record of what was retrieved when something went wrong.
That work is well understood and it is rarely where a product differentiates. Our aim is to make durable, governed memory something you adopt rather than implement, so the engineering months go to the parts of your product that customers actually pay for.
How we operate
Infrastructure-grade reliability
Memory sits on the critical path, so we design for observable, recoverable operation — and publish measured reliability figures only where production evidence supports them.
Security by default
Tenant isolation, audit logging, hashed API keys, and role-based access are part of the platform rather than an enterprise upgrade. Scope is enforced beneath the query, not by a filter callers must remember.
Developer experience first
Predictable APIs, typed SDKs for Python and Node.js, and documentation that covers the contract rather than the happy path. Two calls should be enough to add memory to an application.
Transparent pricing
Plan prices and included request limits are published with an effective date. Storage, retention, overage, and support terms are confirmed before purchase rather than discovered afterwards.

MemorySync is the product and organization name used by this website. The official developer packages are memorysync for Python and memorysync-sdk for JavaScript and TypeScript. Mem0, MemGPT, Zep, and Supermemory are separate organizations and products.
